4-4, but better than .500 in many ways
With three of our four losses coming from Nationally-ranked opponents, the Marlins have been steadily improving over the year. Saturday’s loss to #10 Washington & Lee, showed us just that as The Marlins finished the game ahead in draw controls and shots. Our goal of playing “marlins lacrosse” for a full 60 minutes is getting closer and is what it will take for us to beat those better opponents. We’re excited for our upcoming game at Goucher College in Maryland, especially because many of our seniors are from the Baltimore area. Next home game is Saturday, 3/28 against Sweet Briar at 3:30pm. Hope to see you there!

Coach,
I like getting firsthand accounts when it comes to college sports, especially lacrosse, so this is definitely an enjoyable blog (even though you should update more!). At collegefanz.com, we’re trying to place a heavy emphasis on lacrosse blogging. Right now, we have several bloggers currently on NCAA lacrosse teams (two from UNC) and we’re co-sponsoring the Big City Classic at the beginning of April.
Which leads to why I contacted you: I think your blog would find a good home with collegefanz.com, and be beneficial to both of us. We can offer you an increased audience (we have a massive userbase basically built-in to our free blogs) and you can offer us lacrosse updates from an insider- which is what we’re looking for.
Take a look around the site and let me know what you think at mgleeson@collegefanz.com.
Mike
